Dr. Misty Lovin – Language and Literacy Specialist

Dr. Lovin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton, her Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University, and her Ph.D. in Education from Northcentral University. She has earned her Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from UC Santa Barbara, is a Board Certified Autism Technician, and is BCBA Exam eligible. She has over five years of Applied Behavior Analysis experience and one and a half years of Special Education classroom experience. Dr. Lovin joined Porter Academy in Fall 2026.
